The only player to have more points per minute on the powerplay than RNH last season was Giroux. Malkin was close but RNH was better. To do that as an 18 year old, he could very well eventually be the best PP player in the league on a year to year basis someday.

Shhh. Keep that on the down low.

We don't need to give the stats crowd another thing to deem "unsustainable". :P

With Schultz and Eberle on his line I have little doubt.

I think with the man advantage, it will be RNH inflating their totals.

PP Points Per 60 Minutes
Crosby: 7.719(only 22 games)
Giroux: 7.575
RNH: 7.419
Couture: 7.222
Hall: 6.747
Malkin: 6.239
Elias: 6.181
Pominville: 6.070
Eberle: 5.911
Tavares: 5.769
Selanne: 5.734
Neal: 5.733
Kopitar: 5.601
H. Sedin: 5.400
Stamkos: 4.815
Ovechkin: 4.868
Kovalchuk: 4.591
Seguin: 4.522
B. Richards: 4.223

Sure, a year makes a difference in Hall and Eberle's production but they were no where near that good in their rookie seasons. I think RNH was the big difference.

Maybe I'm just higher on Pulock than most. If you're taking guys like Murphy and Rielly, you need guys like Pulock who play a calmer game, and can read the play well. Our defense is just all over the place

Pulock is no pillar of defense. I like his game a lot, but realistically, if you take him then Murphy stays home and we all know that was never going to happen.
