Back by popular demand. This is the 2013-14 edition of the weekly NCAA prospects stats thread. I'd appreciate if if a super mod could please sticky this thread so I don't have to keep re-posting it. (BTW, last season's stats thread can be taken down).

For those of you that aren't familiar with this, here's how it works.

Accumulated stats for all NHL prospects playing in the NCAA are posted for each week usually on Sunday. The stats are for all non-exhibition games Monday through Sunday. It's important to note here that if an NHL prospect and/or NHL team is NOT listed it is because he/they didn't accumulate any points in that given week.

There is also a section at the bottom of each weekly post called "News and Notes" on any noteworthy items regarding prospects. It's highly recommended that you read this section.

Starting in November, national stats will be posted on prospects that lead the nation, either overall or among all NHL prospects, in a number of categories.

For the first posting (which will be in a little while), weeks #1 and #2 are combined because there wasn't much in the way of stats in week #1.

How does everyone feel about the idea of NHL teams drafting players over 20 in college? Just thought about this, probably adds confusion but may prevent busts and make prospects more recognizable.

I'd be for that idea! Do you mean a rule like other sports have where the player has to complete their junior year of college before they are eligible or they can be drafted any time during their college career? Either way I think it's a good idea.

Yes, I mean they can either enter at age 18 (Senior in HS/CHL prospect/foreign prospect) or at 20 for a foreign prospect or at age 21 (junior in NCAA, 3 years removed from HS) for NCAA prospects

Personally I love this thread. Oilers Chick does an awesome job because fans can monitor the production of their team's prospects from week to week. It's one stop shopping instead of having to do multiple searches to find out how multiple NCAA prospects have produced recently.
