Well, If I remember correctly he had a shoulder surgery and he's doing rehab with MODO as of now. He's not signed or anything, but I wouldn't be surprised if he plays for MODO if he gets back to 100%.

And it sucks to lose Salmela, but there was no way we could compete with the money HV71 gave him right now, but the fact that he said MODO was the only option if he was to continue playing in SHL really irks me considering there was alot of other teams interested.
