Enroth hasn't shown he's gonna be the starter in the games he's played. Wouldn't be surprised to see Fasth on Friday against Norway.

Not sure if Swedes are gold contender with that kind of goaltending situation... For finns sake, lets hope rangers wont drop.

For what it's worth, that means Backstrom instead ;) And Ovechkin+Semin for Russia, of course.

Its worth it. :D Swedes gonna have so killer offense, thought, that the goaltending might even be enough.

Ekholm and Fernholm... :help:

Why wont they give their sticks to Enroth? You can see that he keeps asking for it but both of them just ignore him and stands there/skates past him. It kept going on like that for more than a minute.

Pelle has lost this group. Most of the guys play like they know the Worlds is out of reach for them.

This is actually what we can take for most worrying of this Swedish "effort" in this tourney. The skaters will largely be replaced, but I would like to see a little bit better goaltending than what we have seen here.

Yep.. Thought Fasth was looking good yesterday before we imploded late in the 2nd a lot thanks to that pretty soft 2nd goal. Would like to see a 60-minute good goalie effort on Tuesday against the U.S.

The goaltending hasnt been outright bad, but still, not that great either. Oh well.

The question is how Sweden can integrate their 13 NHL players to the team and its' style of play when there is less than a week for the WHC.

Its usually when you get nhl team like that (thinking about olympics, compare vancouver and torino), it works or then it wont..

It's the same for most teams. Generally Swedish players have a good fundamental tactical schooling, so they should be able to adapt.

And it's not like the current group show any cohesion.
