Redo this draft and the 1st round is pretty solid.

Once you get past that, it starts to drop off quick.

Strome wouldn't make the 1st round in my re-draft.

In no particular order, my 1st round.

Don't look now, but Couturier might be in the conversation for the best overall player in the league, but I think I would go

1 Scheif
2 Kucherov
3 Coutourier
As of RIGHT NOW there's not a player in the league playing better hockey overall...

6th in scoring with selke calibre defense.

Don't expect it to be sustained but if it is you're correct

Gaudreau over Kucherov? Scheifele making the case too. I'd put him ahead of Gaudreau at this point.

Would it be crazy to say Gibson is top 5 in a redraft? I know the best goalie prospects don't even crack the late first round anymore but the value is there. He's arguably a top 10 netminder.

Scheif is on pace for 115 points and is one of our best on the pk....
No about Scheif but just a general aside...

I hate having your top offensive talents on the PK, even if they're good at it. After losing Stamkos on the PK last season... nah, no more. Just not worth it.

I’m the exact opposite, the Jets PK is just abysmal when Scheifele or Wheeler isn’t out there.

Don't look now, but Couturier might be in the conversation for the best overall player in the league, but I think I would go

1 Scheif
2 Kucherov
3 Coutourier

Blake Wheeler would like to have some words with you

Ok. Now I see your problem. Lets make an experiment. Put a cat in the center of a line. Then put Crosby on a wing. So now your ranking is like this:
1) A cat
2) Crosby
Why? Cause Crosby is a winger and this cat is a center.

Terrible analogy

Where would J.T. Miller go? I think he's a very solid player. Had 56 points last year and is almost at a point per game so far this year.

This might be controversial but I would take Klefbom at 3 after Kucherov and Scheifele.
Yes, it is definitely controversial if you have watched even a one game from him this season. He has been hot garbage. As you are a Jets fan I'll give you a little bit of perspective: he has been worse than Myers.
