Was arguably the best defensive corps since the late 80s for the Habs.

If the Habs got Markov and Gorges healthy just in time for playoffs, we would have made the finals. Habs nearly put down the Bruins with an inferior team missing key players. Pacioretty, Gorges, DD(good depth forward back then, was missing in Games 5-7 because of injuries)and Markov obviously.

Really that was an awesome D Corp. Only thing is I don't know if Makrov and Wiz ever played together, didn't Wiz only come in to replace Markov?

It was actually the injury to Gorges that pushed PG into trading for Wiz. If we had either I doubt Wiz would become a hab.
