He hasn't been. so yeah not as good a matchup.

Because he was deepest and the Pens couldn't get the puck up ice far enough for him to change.

Malkin kills me with those big loops. Marino's mistake too. All it takes is a couple miscues and Barzal line's speed hems you in.

That was on Marino. He was at the line and made a cross ice pass to an islanders player.

Completely unnecessary too. Isles gave up a lane for him to get the redline by skating it up. Tried for a blind east-west pass instead.

Relax. It was excellent movement by the Islanders. If it was Keystone Kops, then the front of the net would've been open, like the Isles third goal last night.

I wonder if you live in this dream world where the Pens are supposed to have the puck in the Islanders zone the whole time and any good chance against MUST be the result of a breakdown rather than sometimes being just the result of a good offensive play, but then I realize you don't because you'd find a way to complain about that too.
