Now, Suburban Phoenix. Then, Long Island
"You can really tell Loffen put his work in this off season. He came into camp ready to go and it's shown in these first two GDTs. I think he had a rough second half last season. We all did. When you have a down year, you have to buckle down and find your love for the game because it's not right there in front of you like it is when you're winning. But this is a fresh season and a new start and I think he's going to have a big year with the GDTs..."

It’s a rebuild.

Here's a little story
about a hockey team
who may just win the Stanley Cup
But only in their dreams
The team is from Ottawa
The Senators is their name
Soon to be inducted in the golfing hall of fame
They say they'll beat our Rangers
HA now there's a funny joke
Cause every year at playoff time
The senators always choke

So three cheers for Ottawa
A real team they are nottawa
They can give all that they gottawa
But the Stanley Cup will never go to Ottawa

Ottawa has their Parliament
And MPs in the news
And it’s kinda like their hockey team
They talk a lot but don't produce
They’re not the brightest either
I really have to say
When the capital of our country
Spells Canada with a K (hey thats Kanada)

Oh three cheers for Ottawa
They think they got a shottawa
They must be smokin pottawa
Cuz the Stanley Cup will never go to Ottawa

You better press your flood pants
It’s that time once again
To hear that familiar Ottawa Senators’ saying
“Tee off is at 10”
So get ready for the crying
Take out your handkercheef
You're about to get your ass kicked
By the New York Rangers team

Oooh three cheers for Ottawa
A lesson they'll be taughtawa
Hossa and Havlattawa
You’ll soon be golfing alotawa

What the hell else rhymes with Ottawa
Not a whole heck of alotawa
They’re the team we already forgotawa
Cuz the Stanley cup will never go to Ottawaaaaaaaa

Would it be the last year in Ottawa if the rumours about Kraft and the Senators are true?
How many years will it take to move a franchise to another city?
844,483,393,302,292,207,806,383,703. Don't quote me == this is just a rough estimate.

This is a big help for Hajek. IMO it's all confidence and in between the years for Libs. Thought he looked a lot more composed and assured next to Trouba in the preseason and briefly during the first game.

I think Libs has all of the physical tools. He's taken a number of huge hits due to some slower decision making, but he's willing to take a hit to protect the puck, which as a D you need, but let's not let it be that many.

But all of the physical tools are there, and he knows what to do out there in terms of the plays to make. With and without the puck, but Libs needs to be a lot more sure-handed to have a good outing.

I never want any Ranger to fail although, I didn't care for him in the pre-season or the 1st game. Felt like he got the job only because of his hype.

need to watch out for Radenk Bonk
Ever since they put him with Havlat and Hossa, he’s been something else. Still don’t get why they have Todd White centering Alfredsson. Oh well ... at least we can count on at least one softie from Lalime.

I like the idea of Georgiev starting tonight. It's a long season. If the Rangers sneak into the playoffs it's Lundqvist all the way, and you want him feeling fresh in April.

I mean, I dont have a problem with it either, but next week is a by week. No games until next Saturday. Henrik would be plenty rested. But it gives Georgiev a chance to try and get in a routine, which I'm all for [would have been all for Shesterkin too, but it is what it is].

Quinn looked very slightly defensive when he was questioned about using Smith as a PK D over Fox/Hajek

Not reading much into that, but it was amusing.
