Has there been any clarity on the D pairings? Brooks keeps saying that Staal - DeAngelo has been broken up too but all the other beat writers were saying different.

It's not the CBA break, just a quirk in the schedule. I believe the CBA break is the week after the all-star game.

allstar game is 1/26...no plays 1/23-1/26 and then we play on the 31st...so we have 4 days off but not a full week

Little surprised to see Hajek in the lineup.

The only other options are to play Smith there or to call someone up. Smith is already in the lineup and available if Hajek struggles, and there's no chance we are calling someone up at this point, given our schedule.
