I tried asking about this in the last GDT, there was something that Goldie or Potvin said about someone (opposing player? not sure) giving credit to Barkov in a interview or something, didn't hear it completely. Did someone catch what it was about?

THey asked Crosby what are some of the challenge (or a similar question) of playing against the Panthers. First thing he said is how strong and well positionned Barkov is, so he's really hard to play against.

It makes sense, last season the Panthers ended Crosby's 18 (iirc) home game point streak and Barkov was matched against him.

I probably don't remember it 100% anymore, but Potvin (either last season or this season) went to talk to Pittsburgh Penguins players in the dressing room when Florida played them and asked what they thought of Panthers players, and immediately Crosby mentioned Barkov and how he is difficult to play against, mainly something about Barkovs positional play, how he is always on the right spot etc. Or something.

Look at that record for andersen.

I dont know how the ducks win so many games to be quite honest. Having getzlaf and perry is great but I dont know how they do it.

Kopecky and Upshall out, Berg and Thornton in.

didn't think Upshall deserved to sit, but upper gallant injuries do suck.

don't underestimate Mr universe

I agree, but Anaheim has some big boys so having Thorton in there maybe for protection.

Yeah I'm fine with Thornton in for enforcing, Kopecky has size too but that penalty he took is probably why he has a UGI. But Upshall has brought the energy imo. someone else could have sat but it is hard to squeeze people in.

Rat King is never going to sit nor is Jokinen (Though The Rat King line has been pretty good).

Wow, never realized how much Ekblad gets the puck on net. Love it.

Edit: image didn't work. He's second on the team in shots with 108.
