Against Toronto at 5 on 5, Nurse had his most ice time with the Nuge line.

Last night, it looks like his TOI at evens was with Hyman, McDavid, and Foegele. Ekholm's was with the 2nd line.
We had so much PP time in this game compared to most of our games.

The defense as a whole has looked much better with Ekholm.

My favorite sequence of the entire game was Ekhold getting beat along the boards and then giving Nuge a push to turbo charge his incredible backcheck to break up the 2 on 1, followed by Nuges rink wide tape to tape to hit Yamo streaking in for a beauty of a finish.

That one completely drained the wind out of the Jets sails for a good chunk of the game.

I remember not too long ago this team getting handing its lunch and the games ended quietly.
Not even a whimper.
There were even games where an Oilers player would get rocked and there would be no team response.

I’m gonna have to somewhat disagree. Your point man on the PP has to be able to take a pass and distribute it left and right very quickly. Barrie was very good at that. I don’t think that Bouchard has the agility or thinks the game quick enough to be effective in that roll. I hope I’m wrong and that he turns out to be a weapon back there and not just a shin pad assassin.
