ill let the police know they can stand down then
I'm just saying, why do a tiebreaker poll in the first place if you're just going to end up making them joint winners on account of being close/deserving? It just doesn't make sense.

I despise GoldenEye, personally, but the winner's the winner.

Neither game were even the best rep of it's genre in 97.

Quake 2 was a killer app on top shelf PCs and is still playable.

Where as Ultima Online was the go to RPG for the next two years.

As for console games, SotN is the masterpiece of the year, and neither of these games come close to the "perfect" Castlevania.

FF7 wasn't even the best FF game that year, Tactics blew it away.

And the only thing GE has going for it is longevity, as it's still a speedrun staple.

Other then that, both games don't deserve a vote.

I feel like you are missing the point of a poll.

I didn't get to vote in this one but would of threw my vote for FFVII again. I had tonnes of fun playing multiplayer with friends in goldeneye but it never held up for me. I will pop in the white cd's every couple years and beat the game, finally beat both weapons in 2016 lol! That was it for me...lvl 99 all characters, each with a full set of master materia, all limit breaks and master weapons...all but one...you get it :(
