May we all gather as one. May we all join in our collective faiths as we understand them. We wish peace and serenity unto Timur's family. We wish wisdom, diligence and solutions unto the staff caring for him. There is no accounting for the random chances in life. The accident that has left him in such critical condition cannot be accounted for any more than the odds of us waking up knowing we would be gathered in prayer over this incident right now. And indeed, there's no accounting for the outcome. But be it so, we pray for a full recovery. May he go on to live a healthy and beautiful life. If it is not to be so, then may his spirit be eased into passing. And so too may the spirits of his loved ones be eased as well.

We lift this young man up to you. Into your loving embrace. May his family understand that you may not let Timur go. Or maybe prepare them instead to see a miracle. Your will be done. Let them find grace in such love regardless of what that will is.

Amen.

This is really scary and makes you sit and contemplate how fickle life can be. Really hoping this kid pulls through. That is such a routine play without much speed on the puck. With how many absolute howitzers go by most players heads on a nightly basis it's a miracle it hasn't happened more.

makes your skin crawl reading the description of the injury. hope they can fly in a specialist and the proper equipment.
You can’t really fly in a trauma surgery room or its components, unfortunately. He needs surgery to relieve intracranial pressure, which is presently herniating his brain stem through his foramen magnum. These surgeries are last-ditch anyway and usually don’t save a patient’s life. Poor kid.

"We must take a risk": hockey player Timur Fayzutdinov, injured by a puck, will be transported to a Moscow clinic

After the match in Yaroslavl, the young athlete ended up in intensive care

Hockey player Faizutdinov, injured by the puck, will be transported from Yaroslavl to Moscow

19-year-old captain of the Dynamo St. Petersburg youth hockey team Timur Fayzutdinov, who was badly injured at the match in Yaroslavl, the family wants to transport to Moscow.

“We understand this is a risk, but we must take a risk,” Timur's mother Elena told the 76.RU portal.

She explained that she had absolutely no complaints or doubts about their competence towards the doctors of the Solovyevskaya hospital.

“They just told me that they were working with this type of injury for the first time,” says Elena. - And in case of his injury, special equipment is needed, neurosurgery is needed.

They want to transport Timur, who is now in critical condition, to the Burdenko Medical Neurosurgical Institute in Moscow.

The entire sports community is now worried about the young hockey player. And he supports Timur's family.

- The club, the federation are very helpful now, - the athlete's mother thanked.

The trouble happened in Yaroslavl on March 12 at the match between Dynamo St. Petersburg and Yaroslavl Loko. Timur Fayzutdinov got a puck in the head. The video footage that recorded what was happening showed that the young athlete grabbed his head and fell on the ice. The hockey player was taken to the intensive care unit.

- The washer is in the carotid artery. At the eighth minute, they started the heart. The devices breathe for him and produce the work of the heart, - Timur's brother Ramil said last night.
