Strategy is pretty much what they've stated - build the team long-term while competing in the interim.
Not sure how the Islanders comparison is a thing.
Don't see anyone in the Islanders' pipeline comparable to players like Michkov, Gauthier, Bonk, etc.
And even looking at the AHL clubs, the Flyers have a lot more younger prospects than the Islanders have in Bridgeport.
