In all honesty I've watched him 2 times this season live. He isn't THAT bad. He can skate and his shot is quite heavy. He won all 4 of his faceoffs and he can play a physical game. He is not a good player, but he's not as bad as his stats show. He set up at least 2 tap ins that team mates whiffed on but still ended up with an assist and a +1 in both the games I saw. He definitely didn't come across as a who the hell is this guy why is he in the league.

I think it was an awful pick and a horrible signing but he isn't as bad as some people are saying. If anyone watched the prospect scrimmages at shawnigan lake they'll remember him being decent and that's kinda how he played when I saw him FWIW
