If I help TO by taking Vanilander and his 7.9 mill contract off there hands and making Dubas life easy in resigning Marner, it's for at most, a 2nd and a 3rd with a prospect like Hudon.

Edmonton would probably entertain 15th overall + Sekera for 8th overall. Certainly wouldn't if they're giving up the better pick. What a joke.

I would suspect that the price would be quite far from right. In abstract terms 15OA could be valid price for Nutivaara, but in their current situation I suspect that Nutivaara is far more valuable to Columbus than a first rounder.

I think it might come down to abstract terms. Columbus has 4 or 5 LD right now - Nutivaara, Murray, Werenski, Gavrikov, maybe Kukan - who deserve top 4 minutes. At minimum 3 of them and maybe all 5 would pencil in ahead of Victor Mete.
