How appropriate is it that the Age of Balls ascends in X? The most xciting, xplosive, xtreme team in the league baby.

I'm not sure if we did since half the league dropped last year. Lazy ********. Every time I see Tiranis posting in the Around The League thread I'm like WTF bro? I miss you. Then it breaks down into an Adele song and gets very emotional.

It goes with my theory that HF is dying since the list of all the people who've disappeared from the league were active posters at one point. It's funny looking at that list as I distinctly remember each person's personality.

Are you high again? It looks worse...McDavid got hurt, which is at least a slight negative (it's never good when players get hurt). Meanwhile Kane activated god mode, making the trio of Kane + Getzlaf + Lundqvist even better than they were last year.

It wasn't as terrible as some people claimed, but it definitely looks more lopsided now, not less.

Getzlaf has been awful this year.

Lundqvist has been average formonths now.

LMAO...what am I watching? It must be fun living in your fantasy land.

Since the trade, Getzlaf has put up 30 points in 36 games. If he'd scored at the same pace as last year (70pts in 77 games) he would have a wopping 33pts.

Lundqvist has a .922SV% and a 2.41GAA (.916SV% and 2.52 since the trade). His career averages are 2.27 and .921. So yeah, his averages are a bit worse, but guess what...he's on pace for 40 wins since the trade, his highest total ever.

Meanwhile, Patrick Kane has put up 62 points in the 45 games he's played since the trade. That's 15 points more than you'd expect based on last year.

Meanwhile, Connor McDavid - who was seen as an injury risk by many - has managed to play all of 4 games since you acquired him (3pts).

So yeah, Kane (the youngest player you gave up) has been the best fantasy player in the league, while the two older guys have tapered marginally as would be expected. Meanwhile the worst thing possible happened to the guy you traded for. I think it's fair to say, the trade looks substantially worse for you now than it did when you made it.

Maybe you should focus more on your own team making the playoffs and winning a title for once. Having crosby and AO and not winning a cup must be bothering you.

I would say it's unlucky, but it's not, you lack killer instinct, making proper depth trades to push yourself over the top, this is the reason you will never win.

Let's not forget, the person who took over my team when I left, won that year, and it was my trades that put him over the top, all he did was set the line up every week.

And when Mcdavid and eichel develop, and I win the championship, I will look down on you saying the same thing. You are the San Jose sharks of this Fantasy League.

But hey, all in good fun right =)

Actually just for fun brock, Let's take a look what I managed to accomplish so far this year and my roster as a whole.

Without arguably my best player, I am currently in 8th place, 12 points away from a playoff position.

I have two generational talents, I have two 1st round picks, both could potentially be Lottery Picks, which would give me 3 Three generational Talents.

Milan Lucic
David Krejci
Tomas Tatar
Conor Mcdavid - Rookie
Jack Eichel - Rokkie

Possibiliy Keepers - Mattias Ekholm , Dougie Hamilton, Karri Ramo, James Reimer.

On paper that's a damn good team, and a solid future. Add two 1st round picks

Edit: I want to clarify that I understand your rebuild and you should be very excited about McDavid/Eichel, but that doesn't mean the rest of your team doesn't suck. You have 3 keepers on that roster, anyone else is a stretch.

On paper its no better than any of the other keepers and arguably worse. Theres only so many teams with enough talent to go around.

Larkin Schneider kane and lundqvist are all top notch keepers.
