Do you think it has to do with linemates? Hanzal and Erat seem to complement Klink very well. Both play a pretty simple, straight line, pound hounding game which Klink plays as well. I think he gets into problems when you try to add him to more skilled lines where he starts to show his lack of puck skills.
Eh I think that if he stuck to his strengths he'd be effective with any line. Even scoring lines need a big forechecking guy to work the corners and be in front of the net. He should know what makes him an effective player by now. Besides the style of his game there are moments where his effort isn't there too, which is imo his biggest issue. Energy guys shouldn't be energy guys only sometimes.
