Perhaps that could happen. Or maybe they are just not a good team. The avs also sucked in the year after they made the playoffs. Avs continued to suck and revealed themselves to be a bad team.

People make a lot of excuses for the oilers. Maybe they just arent that good?

Jets basically started their rebuild after the playoffs as odd as it may seem. Wanted to bring in youth and speed to have sustainable post season success not keep trying with the same old aging players.

Kind of like the same thing the Oilers were trying to do this past offseason, except while the Jets let their deadline day players go and let the depth grow into it, Chiarelli traded away 2/3 of a top line.

I love gambling and I've been to Vegas about 6 or 7 times and we always walk the strip. I've put a grand total of $5 combined in all those trips into the machines. There's tons of great stuff to look at and do while on the strip!
