Maybe Parise should have had that surgery after all. I'm no medical professional though, but something is wrong with him, clearly.

I know this is very premature, but if Parise has to retire some day due to his injuries, how does the LTIR work again?

Just generalizing, but back surgeries usually don't fix things, they just make the condition easier to live with.

I don't think,there are too many fixes for backs. That's what did in Bossy and Gretzky. The most talented guy on my block ( early first rounder)growing up never reached his full potential due to a back injury he got in junior. Just couldn't move.
