Defense was not really good tonight. Couple of unlucky goals and the best goalie in nhl right now against us also did not make it easy. Anyway a nice win and we are 5 points ahead of anyone in the east.

Only skater I thought that looked poor tonight was on the ice for 3:24. I thought every line was playing with some excellent jump and we got to our game most of the night.

Vasi had one of his "okay" games - which is fine. After the Rangers game he's earned a bailout.

A win's a win. We played well enough or thereabouts when we needed to. I thought Hedman played a lot closer to his standard, which I was glad to see.

Also, that Serg assist to Kuch in the first was something else.

One of the most exciting games of the year (could be because that Rangers game was just that damn boring), but I thought it was a fast hard fought game by both teams. GG

That was a very exciting, nerve-wracking, heart-stopping game!

The pre-game stuff with the 2004 SC team was really well done. It was so cool to see so many of those players on the ice together! Wish Khabibulin had been one of them though. Torts was introduced as well and got a nice crowd welcome. But the Arena really exploded when Vinny's name was announced.

Sergachev and Dotchin were kinda splitting TOI as Sergi ended up with 13:03 and Dotchin with 14:16. Was interesting how, even with Sustr benched so using only 6D, Bowness still mixed up the pairings so that Hedman (25:37) and Strålman (24:26) ended up having a bunch of shifts together.
