When Vanek is on that 3rd line the most amazing thing to me is every goal they score is either Vanek scoring or Vanek using a linemates stick to score basically. Either way it's all Vanek.


That was the thing that impressed me most last year. Dude was probably like 30th in the league in assists (or something like that) but was like 5th (or something like that) in primary assists. Shows how much of a point creator he is.


Glad to see people coming around to Vanek.

Very good period of hockey. Entertaining, and the passes finally started to connect. The guys are looking comfortable, playing to their strengths and as a result, we have a 2-0 lead.

Only gripes are that penalty near the end when nothing else was called despite some questionable plays, and Dumba looks shaky in our zone. Olofsson though... man. He looks good, not nervous and very collected.
