He really is. Tall defenseman, loves to carry the puck up ice, loves to jump up in the play, but is generally smart about when to do so, and can be physical.
Also Scandella and Spurgeon have 8 of our defense's 11 goals.

I agree that Scandella is starting to resemble Burns. Maybe even a slightly smarter version, yet not quite as skilled.
I really like that he wants to make things happen without deferring all the time when the game is on the line.
I wish Suter would be a little more aggressive at times. So much strength and skill, yet he play a little too safe now and then.
And I wanted him gone a couple years ago... Did not see this coming at all, so kudos to Fletch.
