Pretty much everyone else has been saying that Vasi, on most nights, has been the 2nd best goalie on the ice. I’d say even Elliot has been marginally better so far this year.

Having said that, The one St. L got in the first was not a bad goal.

But even when the defense misses a mark and the other the team’s top guys get close in, breakaways, 2 on 1s, or point blank chances you still want your goalie to save about 3/4 of those (and pretty much 100 percent on routine shots). Vasi hasn’t done that. But That’s what other teams have done when our top guys get golden chances (tonight so far being an exception).

And Hedman has been blah too.
