I have no expectations for this one. We're currently in the bottom 1/3 of the league and dropping fast. It would be nice to have a cushion of points from the games we already played against easier teams, but apparently the Bolts want to do this in hard mode. That, or they really, really want Matthews.

I'll be bringing my VL4 jersey out of retirement. Used it the last couple of years so maybe there's some magic left there. I think my Johnson jersey could be cursed because I got it just before the Finals and you all know what has happened since.

I'm not expecting much but maybe we turn this season around tonight with a depleted lineup. Or we don't and we lose the next 10.

Me too. New Stamkos (2), old signed Stamkos, Cally, and VL4 are my rotation (Used to have 2002 Traitor in there but that is packed away now). Wear one until it loses then move to the next, so not much churn last year. This year I think I have worn all of them at least twice.

With Tampa Bay banged-up, potentially missing five regular forwards tonight against the Rangers, it called up center Mike Angelidis and defenseman Luke Witkowski from Syracuse. Defenseman Matt Taormina was returned to the Crunch.

Wing Joel Vermin had been recalled Wednesday night, and could make his NHL debut tonight. "It's a dream come true," Vermin said. "I couldn't believe it." But veteran wing Ryan Callahan (lower body) participated in today's morning skate and will be a game-time decision, coach Jon Cooper said.

Add me to the list who have no expecations anymore, I still cheer for the Lightning and I would love for them to surprise me but I no longer goes into a game hoping that this is the game when things finally turn around. I will probably be here, at least for the 1st period and see how they play.
