11/11/1985: Remembering Pelle Lindbergh

I have been a fan of the Flyers since 1976 and always wanted to go see the Flyers at the Spectrum. That was the 1st game I saw live at the old Spectrum. Bob Froese was in net that night, giving Pelle a much needed night off. Little did I know that Pelle would be gone by the time I woke up the following morning. A sad day indeed.

WOW ! Very unique perspective here ! Truly a sad event ! He was my 2nd favorite goalie behind Bernie his mentor .
