Since McStrals are our only real solid shutdown d-men with Hedman out, I'd rather see them stay together. Be nice if we could give that pair 40 minutes or so and let the other four fight it out for the remaining 20 minutes.

McDonagh-Girardi sucked fetid bilge water when they were tried together last season. McDonagh is doing outstanding now so he might be able to keep G from creating the bad kind of chaos, but am still a bit spooked by last season. Koekkoek might just be okay with Girardi. We'll soon find out.
