I'm actually pretty excited to see Joseph and Stamkos together. In my head, Joseph is the perfect player type to click with him.

I don't see it at all, Joseph is a 3rd liner he's who's showing exceptional work ethic but he doesn't have the skill to mesh with Stamkos. Gourde is a better player in every way and he couldn't do much with Stamkos.

Can't remember the last time I saw Stamkos on an odd-man rush.. that decline in speed along with Cooper's system kind of took that part of his game away.

True. I'm just not sure if it's that or if he's always on cycling lines. But Point and Joseph should be able to take him on some rushes.
