Since TV commentators mentioned it - it is not entirely Malkin's fault that he is bad at FO. Russian hockey school does not view FO as an important element of the game. So he never put much of effort as a kid to train it.

Doesn't mean he can't work on it as an adult, does it? Lots of guys are terrible on the draw when they hit the league, and manage to improve as they gain experience.
