Quietest game for Kuch in a long time, I think. Barely noticed him.

Cally was also very quite. Was def off today. Had a couple of good chances but not much and did not cash in and did not even register a hit. Very quiet. Figured I should say it. lol.

Gotta say used to worry playing the Bruins, not anymore. They are like gummy bears now.

That game is what happens when your PP clicks. It cost us a lot of points last year. I don't think there's a team close to us in terms of offense when our PP is scoring goals. We led the league in goals last year essentially without our biggest offensive weapon.

Yup, PP looks way better compared to last year, especially that 1st PP line.

That was certainly a cathartic end to that horrible streak in Boston. So many empty seats and boos at the end. Love it. :D

The 2nd unit of Killorn, Drouin, Flip, Hedman and Cally had a few good moments, the PP near the end that PP line dominated and kept the puck in Bostons end for 1:30 of the 2 minutes and looked impressive, would have scored if Flip would actually shoot the puck. Drouin has looked good at the QB of that unit.

Glad to see both units starting to at least get some good chances. Makes the difference

I know there is no sound but watch this gif for about 20 seconds and you start hearing the woos

We should really consider playing Stamkos the full two minutes. Drouin has taken his PP role by the throat and he threads the needle cross ice as well as anyone in the league. #HomerVote

If Stamkos was out there the whole time, he's got TKO to feed passes as well as Drouin or Heddy. That'd be terrifying for a goalie to deal with for a full 2 minutes.

If you ignore the entire first period it was a good game. But holy hell that was a godawful first. Nice to see Drouin get a goal. Already 1/4 done with his goal production for the season :sarcasm: Congrats to Stammer and Killer on their milestones. Congrats to Palat for finally getting a goal since he's been right there making things happen since game 1. Congrats to Bishop for keeping his **** together for the most part. Congrats to Boyle for keeping us alive through that horrific start. Congrats to everyone for a 3rd win :)

Any reason why Rask didn't get pulled though ? I really thought it would happen after the 4th goal. Kind of sucks that he got left in for the whole game when the Bolts obviously had his number.

Whatever. I saw three really undisciplined plays by the Bruins. Two of them were pretty damn blatant - the one behind the net was borderline, but the other two were going to get called every time.

The one behind the net wasnt a penalty when you see it slow mo, but I can see why it was called. The other two will get called every time. Just way too blatant not to get called.

Also I just saw Boyle's second goal. That is one ridiculously strong man to just shrug someone off like that. It is truely great to see all of our fourth liners chipping in in such a manner. This is how you win games.

Also, on a side note, Rask didnt look like himself this game. Most of the goals he should have stopped. I am surprised to see him struggling like this, even with the young defense infront of him.

The worst part about playing Boston is hearing the crowd yell "TUUUUUUUUUUK" every time he makes a routine save. The most annoying **** ever.

I know it's weird to say, but JT Brown was all over the highlights of this game. Just rewatched them. He was part of about four really dangerous plays. Nice to see him pick up the A on Flip's goal. I think he might surprise us this year.

JT leads the team after 3 games with a 75 CF%, which is absolutely unsustainable but a good proof his line spends most of its time in the opposite zone.

What's funny is every team in the league is well aware of how sick our top-six is now, after TKO spent the entirety of last year being the best kept secret in the league. Now we're seeing our top-six get shut down at even strength a bit, and our bottom-six might well wind up the league's new best kept secret.

Really liking both Brown and Condra this year. And Flip looks like he's excelling in his new role. I've always felt like he's a guy who thrives with stability, so if we can just lock him into the 3C spot all year, he'll be a huge asset. Wouldn't mind seeing him removed from the PP though. Drouin pretty clearly has taken over the 2nd unit, and Flip is pretty much useless on the PP if he's not the QB.
