============================================

The roster that follows is partially lifted, with a few edits, from ESPN's page which had a simplicity that was easy to carry into HF.

Some of the forward positions may be different or change (i.e. Konecny RW) and certainly the heights and weights could vary from what the team posts.

  • Sky Blue = Injured. Not expected to be part of the 23-man active roster.
  • Purple = Could be demoted to AHL if Flyers go with three goalies on active roster.
  • Red = Currently not on active roster but that is expected to change somewhat soon.
  • Yellow = Is no longer on the Flyers' active roster.
  • Black = Currently on 23-man roster.

It says a lot that we don't even know for sure if Sanheim - our clear 3rd best defensemen - is even playing...

Fool me once....but I'm gonna say he's in, I just can't see any way, that even Hakstol could justify benching him over those 4 slop heaps

Well he did it last year

Mac, Hagg, Manning, and Gudas all played while Sanheim sat.

Very true.

But Hagg looks worse. Mac is the same. Manning is gone, Folin has looked like a Beer League player. Gudas will probably and should probably be in most of the time.

I mean you need the defense to be able to do something and they have 3 guys...that's it.

Man... you’re looking at Hakstols dream defense there.

Hagg is as heavy as ever
Mac is oozing veteran leadership
Folin is as solid as stone
Gudas has been suspended in the past

He’s just upset he can’t get rid of Provorov and Ghost! ;)

Our stars are going to have to carry again. That much is for sure.

It's sad when I have a real hard time arguing with you over this. lol

Start of the season, start of the pain of having Hak as coach, AMac getting prime time on the ice and Lehtera not being sent down. f*** me this can be bad...

I honestly legit can't wait till AMac falls down a few times and leads to serious chances or goals for Vegas. I know, I'm starting early on wanting goals against. But we all know that AMac could probably turn around and intentionally score on Elliott and still play the next shift.

Sorry, I digress. GO FLYERS!

As pointed out on Twitter.

Scheduled puck drop is 10, but with Vegas' fanfare and bullshit.

I'm guessing 10:20-10:30 is real puck drop

Good lord I won't be able to stay up for that and I'll be busy as shit on Saturday. Guess I'll have to truly pop my GDT cherry with the Sharks game.

Games Thursday. I’m a little worried I’ll fall asleep with haks system on a season opener in maybe the most exciting road venue. That’s messed up.
