Rutta has done a good job this year really surprised me.

Same, he really has turned a corner. I remember hearing back when we acquired him from Chicago he had an awesome first year with them playing top 4 minutes then lost it the following year. May have picked it back up.

What's kind of interesting to consider with Rutta is that we re-signed him in May, which I believe was because European league contracts expire then. He could be out of the NHL altogether right now if we hadn't gotten him early.
