We played ran our A game headlong into what will be one of Colorado's worst efforts of the year. Feels good. Hopefully that can build some confidence.

It'll be interesting if this new Stamkos line takes off, because, yeah, Palat is ALWAYS on the hot line, going all the way back to 18-9-26.

Yep, Colorado is a terribad 5v5 team but 2 weeks for that we've had trouble to generate decent offense and probably got ourselves suck into a boring 2-1 OT loss. We've been getting gradually stronger during this road trip. It's too early to get over ourselves, I'm all for a quiet optimism nonetheless.

Palat does most of the heavy lifting defensively on any line, which allows his teammates to have more possession and more opportunities. I'm seeing the same with Kucherov lately as well. Wonder if we can sneak Drouin on the Johnson/Kucherov line and stand pat on forward heading into the playoffs.
