The Minnesota Wild have tied the series with the Colorado Avalanche and have forced a game seven do-or-die situation. There really isn't much else to say, because any other storylines just won't live up to this. The Wild Must win tonight.

Everyone knows about the Brunette goal in Game 7 of the 2003 QF's, but I just remember another gem from a Game 7 in Avalanche lore...

That video says that play was Game 6. It doesn't matter anyways! Hopefully we get some memory like that tonight. I'm scared that Suter-Brodin can't be out for both Duchene and MacKinnon. Either we win big or we lose.

Ok, I got confused. The "Statue of Liberty play" happened Game 6 and the Wings ended up destroying the Avs 7-0 in Game 7.

So, let's see another 7-0 disappointment for the Avs! :naughty:

Scratching Fontaine is fine, but for Veilleux? Just the thought of that bender still being on the Wild roster pisses me off. He's so bad at hockey.

I don't necessarily hate Veilleux...on the 4th line. Unless they'd be moving someone else there, like Brodziak or McCormick.

Not that Fontaine is an integral loss here, but all options make me uncomfortable.

The Wild are playing well at this time and the momentum is with them. Wild will win this 2-1 with a late goal by Colorado in the 3rd. Close score regardless of the fact that the Wild clearly outplay Colorado (as they have for the most part this series).

Wild: Granlund and Moulson
Aves: who cares...

You know what? Screw it. Veilleux can skate and hit and we'll need as much of that as we can get tonight, especially early on.

Let it roll.
