I would like to propose an idea to some of you guys that think Coyle is killing the 1st line.

everytime the 1st line is on the ice and the play/cycle gets killed or the puck is turned over, ask yourself which player is responsible.

IMO Coyle is starting to get a bad rap.

how about they wouldn't be cycling it or playing with the puck as long if Coyle was positioned better? I'm sure there are people who think Coyle is playing poorly, but most probably think he's just not fitting in...there's a difference, and it's hardly a knock to think a rookie isn't meshing perfectly on the top line of a hockey team with two $7m players.

I think he needs to play to his strength which at this point in his experience level is his size. He protects the puck when he has it, but he isn't using his size to get the puck. not enough hitting or battling IMO. I don't think he should be parked in front of the net but he should by trying to create a ruckus there more often than he has been.

They are very worried.
Fingers crossed the Wild know how important these games in hand are. It's like we're playing the Stars AND Canucks in the same game tonight.

Can't believe that Brodin was 9 the last time they won in that freaking town.
