Good....I was hoping they'd bench Doobs for this one and play him Sunday instead against a tough Duckies team.

I think we can beat L.A. We should beat them. But I'll be happy with a point in either this one or vs. Anaheim and taking 3 of 6 points on the west coast trip. Would really like to get 4 or 5 of 6 though.....

Still hate the fact that the Wild are off until Thursday after the game Sunday. Getting sick of this 4 days in between games crapola. Hard to stay in a rhythm and we tend to come out flat. See game vs. Sharks for recent example.

Just FYI for the lineup OP - Russo blogged the lines yesterday...

From the Strib...

Nino Niederreiter remained on his off wing with Zach Parise and Eric Staal after that elevation in lines spurred last night’s comeback.

The Jason Zucker-Mikko Koivu-Mikael Granlund line was obviously untouched.

Jason Pominville played the left side of Erik Haula and Charlie Coyle, and Jordan Schroeder and Kurtis Gabriel took turns with Tyler Graovac and Chris Stewart.

Thus it's as follows...

Parise - Staal - Nino
Zucker - Koivu - Granlund
Pominville - Haula - Coyle
Stewart - Graovac - Schroeder/Gabriel

Hopefully Haula can up his game a bit because not a fan of Coyle being wasted on the 3rd line.

Normally, I'd be happy with a point from this game. But @#$! it!! I want two!!! Besides, between this game and the one at The Pond, I feel this one is the better one to take advantage of. Don't trust the Quacks.

Hopefully Haula can up his game a bit because not a fan of Coyle being wasted on the 3rd line.

Haula needs a RHS to take faceoffs for him. Pommer has been doing it most of the season. Coyle might be more of a waste on a line with Parise than stuck on the 3rd line. Plus he gives the 3rd line a net front presence, so Pommer doesn't have to try and play there.

If it goes back to 3 lines Graovac/Haula/Coyle is a pretty nice 3rd line.

You are doing it right!

Sadly I'll be on the road while the game is on. Anyone know a radio station in Wisconsin that plays Wild games?

Dowd centering their 2nd line? Knew that kid would be good!

No Price in net makes me think we'll score plenty tonight.

Would be great if Kuemper could get on a roll, and let Doobs get himself together.

Agree about Haula. In spite of a couple of mistakes recently, his defence is vg, but if he is playing with players like Coyle and Nino, he needs to chip in some scoring.

This is not the same LA team without Quick in goal and they are without one of their better offensive players still. I hold onto hope they get a winning streak going again.
