Hynes doesn't know how to utilize talent.

He's giving more time to players who are less talented like Rooney and Wood over Gusev and Bratt.

wait, Bratt really played almost 5 minutes LESS than Rooney at 5v5. What horrendous usage of one of the more skilled guys in this lineup.

He has moments. I think he's perfect 4th line, 11-12 minutes a night guy. A little overpaid for that role, but that's not really a big deal.

He's good at coaching GARBAGE when everything is GARBAGE, but when we have actual TALENT, he still uses that talent as if it was still Garbage.

You know, i don't want to overreact i really don't and i'm usually one for looking on the bright side of losses to see what can be built on.

But right now, and yes it's still very early, enough is enough and something has to give really soon. Something, anything. Because after all the f***ing hype this off-season got, after all the talk of how much this team has improved on paper, this is some embarrassing results. I'm not saying they should be a f***ing cup contender and first in the division, I'm saying it shouldn't be this f***ing bad and there are no excuses for it. No, having a lot of new faces in the lineup isn't a good enough excuse. I don't want to see f***ing Boqvist subbed in for Zacha or a change like that, there's more core issues that are wrong with this team that a small change like that isn't going to solve. Small sample size or not, you want this team to take a step forward? Show it and make a change. The process isn't working. Doesn't even have to be Hynes, fire the assistants in charge of the special teams that absolute ass right now.

Now is that because of playing with Gusev? Maybe, but these guys have been pummeled 5v5.

In new NHL terms they're 1-4 with two points (and the extra two they gave up were to WC teams) but yeah...it's far less likely they overcome the slow start considering this hasn't exactly been the world's toughest schedule other than tonight.
