55-59. Chris Kunitz was glued to Crosby's hip in 2014 and scored 30+ goals. Hyman isn't Kunitz but he's playing with McDavid so expectations are high.
if he can stay healthy then that should be the expectation. Was gonna vote 50 - 54 but I gave him the benefit of the doubt.

I am being pessimistic with 45-49. He’s more than capable of hitting 50 points and maybe 60.
Gonna say 48 points in 72 games. Think he misses some time banged up.

55-60. He’s an underrated player offensively imo. Not everyone can be successful playing with the top players, as we saw in Vancouver with the Sedins. It takes a certain skill set which Hyman definitely has.

The guy is going to play with McDavid and (or) Draisatl. He's great at freeing up pucks. He will get lots of second assists that way.

I picked 50-54. I think he'll pace for more than that, but his style of play will probably result in him missing a handful of games. So he'll have like 53 points, but in 70 or 71 games.

I agree with a lot of the other statements thus far, in the 50-60 range would be my guess.

If he’s next to McDavid the entire season and McDavid goes super saiyan then I could see him riding those coattails into the 60-70 point area

Should have no problem at all coming in at 55. Could see higher. Don’t see lower unless injury.
He will be good for 50-60 pace ppg for the next couple of years at least.

If he can stay healthy, play 78-82 games this season, I surmise 50-54. He's in his prime, also depends on how he is used. If the Oilers employ him more as a net presence on the PP, and cut back on his PK duties, he should be good for atleast 50 points while bringing his high intangibles puck hound game to the Oilers. If they play employ him as a defensive player, then probably lower.

McDavid is incredible, no denying that.

But Hyman doesn't have the finish or skill to hit 70. He will get a boost, but prob between 45-55 max.

I don't think Hyman's value to McDavid will even necessarily come from his own production, but from the space he opens up for McDavid and the turnovers he creates on the forecheck. His actual production probably falls in a similar range as in Toronto, but he'll benefit McDavid by doing the "little things" that lead to chances that McDavid's previous linemates weren't good at doing.

Exactly. That's what I think will happen. He will help McDavid in many ways that are not on the scoresheet.

He just needs to stay healthy or this will get ugly in Edmonton.

But healthy he will be a bulldog when it comes to hustle, at least for the first 1-2 years.

Hard to say. Burrows got 67 points with the Sedins. And Hyman paced for 63 last year. I could easily see 60 as he’s playing with the best player in the league if he plays with McDavid.

That's true. For sure possible, I just don't think he hits 60+ but I do see 50 with PKing and other intangibles.

But you honestly never know.
