The Coyotes are still in the playoff hunt. Could Kessel go cold again? Probably, but this team needs all the goals they can get. If they can offload him in the offseason I would be fine with that.

I don't think trading Phil and competing for a playoff spot are mutually exclusive. We can move him for value & futures and still lean on our young core to produce offense and push for that spot. What the Coyotes really need more than goals is future assets to accentuate and amplify the core down the line.

I miss Phil.

Most Leafs fans were thrilled for him when he has success with Pitt. He had a lot of personal success with the Leafs but the team sucked ass and that wasn't his fault. Would love to see him back in secondary role.
