Hopefully the Devils can break the Flames fans fantasy that their team is actually pretty good after the trade. That teams prescription is a rebuild and destroying them completely is the perfect medicine to make it happen.

Devils needs to help Calgary to find better center on the draft. They have Zary and Honzek, but still need to find more dynamic first line drive center. Or new future first pair defenseman because Hanifin will likely leaves. In their situation they have more chances for a good defenseman on the 2024 draft. Wish them well.

We've had situations earlier this season where we had won a game, thought we were on our way, only to fall flat on our face the next game.
