The goaltending the last few games is actually a point in favor of the people saying the system was killing the goalies.

In this small recent sample, the goalies look better after the system changed.

Issue with Vitek is still his inability to freeze pucks and control his rebounds.

He will look better if we continue to play cleaner hockey, but even so we still need an upgrade

There was an article on it in the papers a few days ago.

Also, Sal was talking about the new system during the break last game.
Nashville announcers detailed it in their pregame and during the game. Mostly the role of center changed, if I understand it correctly... Which is why I think you see Hughes moving to wing for Haula and Lazar in favor of Mercer

Edit: and yeah they likened it to a 'zone' defense instead of blitzing. They said 'zone' alot.

I think playing more zone means the team knows where the support for the puck is more quickly.

When the defenders were chasing the puck around you never knew where anyone was without looking all around. The defenders would also bunch up when chasing, I think they’re more spread out now so the puck can be moved out of pressure without firing it into the neutral zone.
There's a center in front off the net and that's really all I care about. Lazar's stick block alone justified it for me.

Wut? I don't think there's anyone who could believe such a thing. :sarcasm:

Is it an electric kettle or one you put on the stove? perhaps that's the misconception that Americans don't use kettles? Reddit and the internet told me that Americans don't use them at all.:dunno:
We use a tea kettle with a all spout and on Sundays my wife uses a tea pot with loose tea. My grandmother lived on a farm and cooked with a wood stove. There was always a huge tea kettle with the tall spout on that stove as long as people were up. It came to a boil and she moved it off to a spot that kept it just below a boil. Don't have any idea how she always found that spot.

IMO herbal tea sucks and I am a big TEA drinker. It ain't tea if there's no TEA in it. Real tea also comes in flavors. My favorite flavored teas are Vanilla and Orange. Drinking a vanilla decaf as we speak. Have to go to sleep sometime.
I like most teas. But I got in a habit of drinking chamomile tea before bed. It helps me wind down.

That right there was the difference between getting just a point which is the best we all hoped for pre-game and 2 points which is beyond anything we expected, especially on the road against a team we haven't beaten in 15 F'N YEARS in their building.
