It's garbage time, so I don't care about no power play, but you gotta call a penalty there, when Palmieri gets high sticked like that.

Team isn't losing because of Zajac, but he doesn't look good. I don't understand the need to rush him back. Wasn't he supposed to be back in January?

He looks out of sync, because you know he missed training camp and almost a 1/4 of the season. Being out longer doesn't fix that, only game time does.

schneider looks so much like lundqvist the past few years in his ability to take over certain games but then to absolutely crap the bad for a period or two. and as i said above his stickwork is just awful. im not about to blame the defense when he adds to their responsibility as opposed to eleviating it.

Bleed, it's friggin' CANADA. What did you expect? Fair calls?

Can't wait until the Devils return to the states where they would at least get some form of fair penalties called in their favor. Any games played in a Canadian teams arena is guaranteed to be a game against both the Team itself and the Officials.

I mean the Henrique bashing can get over the top at times but it's days like today where I wish this was a different market where the writers would actually ask pointed questions about the invisible man.

Can't really compare from then and kk was still developing and playing very sparatically. I know I'm prob the only one on this board but not only do I think kk will be a starter after this contract ends, I think he has more success then cory.
I don't think he will be, because here's what happens. When a backup becomes a starter somewhere, they almost ALWAYS experience a drop off in play, due to starting more and a larger sample size and more opportunities to have a shitty game, whether it's their own or because the team lets them down and they get a little unlucky.

There's so many examples of this. Talbot has been good for Edmonton, but he hasn't maintained the level of play from his backup days as a Ranger. Martin Jones probably won't repeat his rookie season, even though he also had a crappy sophomore season as a backup. Antti Raanta? He's already seen a drop off from his backup numbers.

Even our very own Cory Schneider. He was like a .930 goaltender as a backup/1b in Vancouver, he's dropped off when playing a lot more games and becoming the starter.

So if Kinkaid is only a .915 backup, I doubt he's a .915 starter.

Ehhh, hard to be mad about the officiating. The Devils have had 2 PPs to none for the Jets.
