Just the systems I personally owned, in rough chronological order:

Atari 2600 - Montezuma’s Revenge
NES - Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out & Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Arcade Game
Game Boy - Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins
PC - Wolfenstein 3D & SimCity (original)
Sega Saturn - Thunderstrike 2
DS - Civilization: Revolution
Wii - Super Mario Galaxy & Guitar Hero III
3DS - Fire Emblem: Awakening
Wii U - Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Those are not necessarily the best games on each platform. In fact, most objectively aren’t. Probably only Breath of the Wild on that list can claim to be the best title on its platform.

These are just personal favorites that, for whatever reason, I poured tons of hours into and have the most fond memories of playing.

I’m leaving out Skyrim and GTA 5 despite them being in my top 5 all time, because I’ve owned them on multiple consoles, and can’t decide whether to put them on the original console I played them on, or the console that was the better version.

Xbox One - FIFA 17 (it basically just collects dust, so I don’t have many choices)

Gamecube: Tough call between Super Smash Bros. Melee and MVP Baseball 2005

XBOX 360: The Madden with Calvin Johnson on the cover
PS3: some sports game, not sure
PS4: MLB The Show 17
PC: not really a PC gamer, so I guess Overwatch?
DS: Pokemon HeartGold
3DS: Pokemon Alpha Sapphire

Cruisn' World for N64 was my first ever console game. Always gonna have some love in my heart for it even though they're ridiculous.

Yes! I actually bought an AV cord for my N64 since I couldn't find it. I played that game last week.
