I have a radical solution to Rumble being too long. Move one of the Rumble matches to Survivor Series. Move Survivor Series to February instead of EC. Would make Survivor Series an important show again.
So you have one big show in January for the Rumble, another big show the following month for Survivor Series, and then another big show following that one up with Wrestlemania? Too much. Way too much.

The Rumble stadium experience might've soured me a little bit on attending Wrestlemania, or at least killed my urgency to attend this year. Got floor seats which were regular folding chairs which were zip tied together which gave us almost no arm/leg room. I was cramping up a bit during the women's Rumble. And if anybody was standing up in the sections in front of us, we couldn't see the ring. Spent a little too much time watching the screens rather than the ring which took away from it.

Buddy needed a bathroom break during the subsequent AJ/DB match and we had a perfect vantage point waiting in the line for that. So we ended up watching the remainder of Rumble while standing in center field. Inadvertently stumbled on where the eliminated people would exit which was fun. Naturally a lot of guys are shorter than expected.

I probably set my expectations a little too high and walked out a little disappointed. Although I suppose overall it was still a memorable experience. Line for the Rumble burger was more than I was prepared to waste, ended up in the peanut gallery during the pre-show segments with HBK/Otunga. And I did enjoy being at the airport yesterday and hearing over the PA system for "Scott Dawson" to show up for a flight.

Great pics, Brodeur.

I was wondering about those steel supports just to the left of your view. Would've sucked if someone buys floor seats, they're all pumped, and then they show up and they're directly behind that massive structure.

Yeah honestly, these stadium shows are nightmares on the floor after like the first 6 rows or so and it just gets worse the deeper you go.

The first level risers are the next best thing if you can’t get ringside imho.

Yeah, I've really considered going to Mania this year seeing as it's probably as close as it will ever be again for me but paying 100s of dollars just to say I was in the building watching the screen is a turn off.

WrestleMania is the only other major PPV I've never done and decided this was the year since is in New York, but I know I'm doing the travel part of this all wrong.

I’m considering doing Summerslam in Toronto. I don’t think that’s in a stadium so we good.

Also NXT Takeover, obvs

Rumble's the only major PPV I haven't been to of the big 4 yet. I was at Survivor Series 2011, Wrestlemania 2013, and SummerSlam 2015-2018. Going to Wrestlemania again this year and got seats similar to what I had last time but a little better. You really gotta shell out to get decent seats for it. To me, it's just not worth it sitting upstairs especially in a stadium like MetLife for wrestling.

More WWEPC channel goodness:

Women's NXT clique confirmed.

And Ricochet is with Kacy Catanzaro...

Ripley made me lol during Kacy and Ricochets embrace. Her and Ruby's exchange was hilarious too. Good stuff.

Ricochet seems like a great guy.

Candice is an absolute sweetheart.

well, I still think the two Womens matches were the best on the night

it was a really great weekend for the Women of WWE honestly. best NXT Title in a while, lots of NXT women in the Rumble, fantastic Womens title matches, absolute starmaking moment for Becky and even though it was Nia, a bit of intergender working. love it.

The cruiserweight title matches are consistently fantastic, but are consistently on the pre-show. They use it to try to sell the ppv to people watching the pre-show.

"honestly this PPV will be good, ignore that awkward Tag match from earlier"
