I greatly appreciate this trade as I will no longer be confused by Kniazev vs. Knyzhov.

Gawanke had the slightly Twitter-famous rant where he complained to a German newspaper about his usage with Winnipeg with the poorly-Google-translated headline that read "I Ripped My Ass Open for Them."

Dahhham How can we let a guy like that slip through our fingers?

It took me a number of years, but the past season I finally figured out a way to remember who is who.

knySHOVE (Knyzhov) is the big, physical one.

kNINJAzev (Kniazev) is the small, smooth PMD.

Gawanke, Acquired in Kniazev Trade, Will Sign With Sharks

Looks like Gawanke will be signing with the Sharks. Hope he gets a fair chance- had some good seasons in the AHL
