actually, you're quite incorrect.
stats show that you're best to pull the goalie when there's around 2:30 left in the game.
almost all teams do that now.

Oh sorry. Great point! What is OUR record with goalie out?? That is all that matters, not other teams. We should wait later, knowing our results with the net empty. Wait until 1 minute. Go off your team, not "everyone else"
