As a position player, but not as a goalie FA from Europe. I didn't say it was the worst team for him to sign with, but what are the chances of him replacing a Stanley Cup finalist (likely) who posted .926/.938? It's a one year contract. Winnipeg and Minnesota seem like far better situations for someone who has 1 year to show his stuff. All this is assuming that Wpg and Min were truly interested.

The Hawks are losing a goalie to FA that started basically half of their games this season. The Jets have a goalie that started all but, what, 6 games? If this is all about playing time, Chicago seems to be the far better option. Never mind the team and city being far superior as well.
