There is still some time left before the NHL trade deadline, will the Toronto Maple Leafs take a swing at Jacob Markstrom, hit and land him?
Too much shuffling, maybe in the offseason.
Teams aren't going to retain, it's going to cost a bit AND they'll have to move out Samsonov +. Would be easier to try in the offseason for TorontoI don’t think this matters, they have the big 4, they need to go for it.

the idea of 4 goalies does excite me.There is still some time left before the NHL trade deadline, will the Toronto Maple Leafs take a swing at Jacob Markstrom, hit and land him?
First Makar, now this?
What have you got lined up next? I can't wait.
Why?

FIX THE DEFENSE.Samsonov is UFA, the Flames can take him and they need another goalie for the remainder of the season. I think they can fit Markstrom.
Toronto needs to get creative, like Las Vegas.
FIX THE DEFENSE.
You don't get "creative" by shuffling at a position that actually isn't a significant improvement relative to the further gutting of a below average pick and prospect pool.
5. Don’t forget about Matt Murraythe idea of 4 goalies does excite me.
I am sorry but I am just excited, we are finally heading(hopefully) into a much needed rebuild.
But your idea of a rebuild is trading all of your assets for Cale Makar, a player good enough to get you on the bubble while not committing to a full rebuild.
Why would the Leafs trade for Markstrom? They already have their next starter ready to go.There is still some time left before the NHL trade deadline, will the Toronto Maple Leafs take a swing at Jacob Markstrom, hit and land him?
