The record where I'd feel comfortable about their chances would be 14-8-3 in the final 25 games of the season. I don't think this team can achieve that record with the schedule they have remaining.

So I would say no with a certain amount of confidence.

As it stands so far, it looks like the majority were right in that poll before the season started. As far as your question? I'm going to say no, they won't (and hope that I'm wrong).

there was a brief period of time that I was feeling optimistic but that started to nose dive, then crashed and burned for good, during those couple of games going into the Olympic break. No! hole is much too deep now for this team to climb out of.
