As of today I’d have to go with Jarry but these days it seems like goalies can go from top-5 to barely NHL caliber or vice versa in a single season so who knows.

It does look like a list of guys that just got cut.
Got to go with the Cup winner in Binner for sure.
Goaltending in NHL is thin across the league.
Good news is scoring in the NHL should flourish, and that’s a good thing.

Yeah, I’m glad being a Canadian the nhlers couldn’t go to the olympics, our goaltending definitely would have been exposed…

Holy, it’s a dark era for Canadian goaltending. Jarry, or Binnington. I guess I’d go with Jarry if I had to choose.

That was the point of the whole thread, to show how bad it is.
In that case, I think this thread accomplished its mission.

If having to pick a goalie to start today, I’d pick Binnington. He has a beast mode ability…but is also prone to his game falling apart for months.

If going for the future, I’d take Jarry or Hart as there’s a decent chance we haven’t seen the best of them yet.

It's a great way to depress us that's for sure. But it's going to get better, we've got some guys coming soon.

Pray for Cossa to be that guy, dark horse maybe Devon Levi

This poll? Binnington I guess. He can get hotter (emotionally and play wise) than everyone else on this list.

Cossa?... Yikes.

Hart, Levi and Garand have a way better chance of getting there.

Asking me who the best Canadian goalie under 30 is like asking me which smelly underwear to pull on because I have no clean underwear left…

Ouch... Crazy that's how bad our goalie talent bottomed out. I knew that goalie talent was a bit dire league wide, but I didn't realize that the Canadian pool was so much emptier than expected.
